The IDC College Costa del Sol is located directly on the beach of Atalaya Park Hotel with a wonderful view of Gibraltar and the Moroccan coast and has been managed by Peter Deth since 1996. Both the hotel and the College are situated in a quiet residential area away from noisy tourist centers.

Our dive centers are certified by PADI and awarded as the only PADI 5* Career Development Centers & NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC dive centers in Spain. Furthermore PADI Europe is doing the Instructor Examinations at IDC College because it is the only PADI IE location in southern Spain.

The IDC College and our dive centers are the first ones in southern Spain where Nitrox is the normal gas.

Wrecks, reefs, prolific life, underwater mountains, caves and blue blue water are just a few of the things to see whilst diving on the Costa del Sol. Interesting marine life is guaranteed, because at Costa del Sol the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean meet one another. Which means that plants and fish from both waters are found.
